bio: diamond dust is a pegasus born in ponyville. she has a sister named cosmos, but they don't speak often. diamond and cosmos pretty much despise eachother, but their interests both lie in space and the night sky. diamond lives in canterlot now, and not ponyville. she dreams of being in princess luna's royal guard. diamond loves to fly, especially at night so she can see the constellations she makes. to make constellations, she draws out what they might look like, mails them to princess luna, luna gives the approval, and diamond goes out the next night to move the stars around.
backstory: diamond and her sister cosmos were born to a pegasus father and a unicorn mother, but the father left soon after birth. the mother was stuck with both fillies and raised them in ponyville because she couldn't fly. diamond and cosmos took flying lessons from a local retired wonderbolt, but diamond was always better at flying, and often made fun of cosmos and called her an earth pony. when they were older, cosmos left for canterlot, and diamond stayed in ponyville. diamond said she couldn't care less, but really, she was heartbroken and felt as if it was her fault that her sister ran away. diamond dust soon got her cutie mark after sketching out and making her first constellation. she got the idea when she went to a celebration and princess luna was there. she loved the stars in the alicorn's mane, and diamond asked her how she got them there. luna told the filly that stars are easy to move, and sometimes when she's out making constellations, they fall in her mane. diamond thought that that was wonderful, and she asked luna if she could help the princess make constellations. soon after, diamond moved to canterlot to get a closer look at the castle, and to be closer to princess luna. she lives there now in a small house.
